Roadsurfer makes its debut as a sponsor for the first time. The outdoor travel experts will not be missing the sixth edition of Sea Otter Europe, the largest cycling festival in southern Europe on 23, 24 and 25 September, and will continue to strengthen their philosophy of active living, sport and sustainability.
Pirinexus and Roadsurfer share the same essence, since it is an event that takes its participants on a journey of adventure, discovery and fun. The gravel challenge par excellence, the ultimate test, just had to count on the support of Roadsurfer.
Roadsurfer did not hesitate to attend the international event as they tell us: ‘Being part of this new edition of Sea Otter Europe will allow us to bring our range of outdoor travel options to one of the most beautiful parts of the country where, in addition to enjoying the festival, visitors can travel along fantastic coastal roads, beaches and enjoy the gastronomy of Girona and the Costa Brava’.
Roadsurfer was founded in 2016 and is, with its colourful campervans, the largest campervan rental service in Europe. Roadsurfer’s pledge is a 24-hour service, ready-to-go camping packages and access to the latest models. The Munich-based company operates in 50 locations in 12 countries and has a fleet of almost 5,000 campervans made by Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Westfalia and Bürstner. With its campervan rental, subscription and sales services as well as Roadsurfer spots, the company has established itself as a personal and digital travel and lifestyle brand in the growing caravanning market.
The boom in the caravanning sector continues to develop in Spain and Roadsurfer has responded to the trend with a range of compact campervan models and rental offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Bilbao and Malaga.
The Canyon Pirinexus Challenge is the ultimate challenge. It symbolises the cross-border union between Catalonia and France, linking the Catalan Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea by bike on continuous greenways. A 340-km challenge for all gravel fans and one of the most authentic, beautiful and demanding races in Europe.
A new edition of the ultimate gravel challenge will be held on 24 September as part of the sporting programme of the Sea Otter Europe festival with the support of Roadsurfer.
