Twenty-three of the cycling world’s top brands will offer visitors to the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show (2-4 June) the chance to try out their bikes in Test Zones designed especially for this purpose. The brands that offer Bike Test are Berria, BH, Biboo, Btwin, Bulls, Cannondale, Cube, Focus, Ghost, Giant, Haibike, Lapierre, Liv, Lobito, Look, Massi, MMR, Moustache, Olympia, Pivot, Satual, Scott and Thompson.
Those interested may test over 300 XC, dual-suspension, Enduro and electric MTB bikes in a fantastic joint activity that will take place on a 4-kilometre circular track through wooded terrain. This venue, located just 300 metres from the festival’s Exposition area, will feature climbs, technical singletracks, jumps, natural obstacles, sharp turns and fast stretches. The route will offer several variations to adapt to the physical and technical conditions of all riders and test specific aspects of the bikes. It will provide the opportunity to assess elements such as brakes, suspension, gears, tyres, cadence, electric assistance and much more. The test sessions will be led by the brands themselves, with specialists on hand to guide visitors throughout the circuit.
To streamline the Bike Test sessions, an area has been set up on the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show webpage in which participants may register and reserve the bike brand, model and size they would like to test. The brands will prepare the chosen model and the size that best suits the cyclist. In addition to the scheduled sessions, there will be a free ride through the Test Zone on electric bikes on Saturday 3 June at 5 pm. The activity is open to everyone. The meeting point for those interested will be in front of the Fontajau Pavilion.
