The Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental international cycling festival, to be held in Girona on 20th, 21st and 22nd September, and the sports industry cluster INDESCAT have renewed their strategic collaboration agreement to combine synergies to promote the sports sector.
The agreement includes a series of advantages for cluster members and their participation in the international cycling festival in Girona.
The sports industry cluster will have its own space at the festival which will be available to cluster members for activities such as exhibitions, presentations and networking activities with over 400 brands present at Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental and the Euro Mobility Festival.
INDESCAT is a private, company-led entity. As a cluster, it aims to unite the organisations and entities linked to the world of sport, with the objective of carrying out actions to improve their competitiveness and also their environment.
INDESCAT currently brings together more than 130 companies and organisations, with a global turnover of over 2,400 million euros, offering services and products to the entire sport and physical activity market. Furthermore, INDESCAT also promotes and dynamises the Barcelona Sports Hub, a public-private initiative of the Barcelona City Council, with the leadership of the Institut Barcelona Esports (IBE). The Barcelona Sports Hub provides the city with a space for technology and innovation applied to the world of sport; to generate synergies between entities, investors, companies and entrepreneurship, and to activate and accelerate the sport tech ecosystem in the city.
INDESCAT’s main objective is to help its members to identify and address new business opportunities that may come from innovation, internationalisation, training or financing, through working groups, conferences or collaboration agreements with different institutions.
As one of the international benchmarks in the cycling sector, Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental seeks to create links and agreements with the main entities in the sector, such as INDESCAT, with the aim of expanding and collaborating in the development of the sports sector.
The 8th edition of Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental will be held on 20th, 21st and 22nd September 2024. Last year, around 65,000 visitors and over 400 international industry brands attended the event.
