ABUS: the official helmet brand of Sea Otter Europe 2021
The brand sees the festival as a great formula for success and is stepping up its involvement as an official general sponsor of the event
ABUS, the prestigious German helmet brand, has been collaborating with the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Continental festival for years, chiefly as an official helmet sponsor for the Continental Ciclobrava and Demobike helmet testing.
For the 2021 edition, it is going one step further by becoming one of the official sponsors of the festival as a partner for cycling helmets, as well as continuing as a sponsor of the Continental Ciclobrava. The brand will also sponsor the Gravel races: the Canyon Pirinexus Challenge and the Girona Gravel Ride.
When talking about ABUS, it’s important to highlight the brand’s ethics – transparency, honesty and fairness – which are fundamental in their day-to-day work, as well as the soundness, safety, reliability and quality of their products. ABUS is constantly developing cutting-edge, high-performance products. Thanks to these ethics and their constant effort, ABUS develops and manufactures the finest security solutions, providing people all over the world with the best possible sense of peace of mind and safety. This is reflected in the brand’s motto: ‘Providing people with innovative security technologies since 1924’.
The fact that ABUS has a great international reputation, and the positive relationship that has been established over the years with the festival, has led the brand to step up its involvement as an official general sponsor of the event.
For ABUS, Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Continental is one of the most attractive events going due to its international reach and the large number of quality visitors who attend the festival looking to try the different products on offer. The event’s festive, jovial atmosphere encourages visitors to enjoy great experiences and keep happy memories.
New helmet models and anti-theft devices can be tested at the ABUS stand
One of the brand’s most important attributes is that they manufacture a large part of their products in Germany, where their R&D centre is also located. ABUS is unable to provide us with more information about future products at this stage, but one thing that’s clear is that electronics and connectivity will play an important role in coming times.
For 2021, Antonio Pardo, marketing manager of ABUS Spain, notes that forthcoming launches include new helmet models and anti-theft systems, which will of course be available to test out at the festival.
