The Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental demobike is one of the most important activities during the festival. More than 50 brands, with more than 500 bicycles of all cycling modalities are available over the weekend for the thousands of people who visit the festival in Girona.
The demobike is a great opportunity for the more than 60,000 attendees to try out hundreds of bikes of all kinds free of charge. This is also a great opportunity for the brands to present their new models to all those interested in trying out bikes before deciding on a purchase.
Hundreds of mountain bikes, city bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, enduro bikes, electric bikes… a whole paradise of hundreds of bikes available to attendees. Completely free of charge, a real cycling theme park available to all cycling enthusiasts.
NEW TEST CIRCUITS
In addition to the existing circuits of each edition, this year new circuits of all modalities will be designed, meaning there will be many more possibilities to test the different types of bikes which will be available at the different stands of the brands offering this service. As always there will be several circuits for mountain bikes, gravel bikes, road bikes, urban bikes and eBikes. The routes will be presented soon.
On the other hand, the pre-booking process for the bikes will also soon be announced through a very easy to use platform. When it begins, you can access the platform with a simple click, enter your details and simply choose the day, time and bike(s) you want to try out.
Rides will last between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the type of circuit and the pace of each individual. There are both self-guided and guided rides, depending on the brand. Some circuits are marked and for others there is a route on the Wikiloc platform.
Pre-registration for the platform will be open from September onwards, and there is huge interest in experiencing what’s new in 2024 first hand!
And, as if that wasn’t enough, there will be a free bike locker service for the convenience and practicality of attendees who come to the festival with their own bike.
Stay tuned as the available models will be announced soon.
