2022 BIKE BRANDS CONFIRMED ALREADY. THE TOP 20 BIKE BRANDS AT THE BIKE SHOW IN EUROPE
THE GREATEST BIKE BRANDS IN THE SECTOR CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SEA OTTER EUROPE GIRONA-COSTA BRAVA AND RETURN FOR THE 2022 EDITION
Bike brands have enthusiastically signed up for the forthcoming edition, which will be held from 23 to 25 September 2022
Going into 2022, the speed at which brands are booking up spaces bodes well in terms of optimism and the festival’s continued growth. Sea Otter Europe was the first cycling festival in the sector to be held in the wake of the pandemic, managing to almost match pre-pandemic numbers. In 2022, not only will brands from last year’s festival continue to support the festival, but those that did not have the opportunity to attend in 2021 will return.
These will be the bike brands that you will be able to enjoy all over again at Sea Otter Europe 2022
The festival has received confirmation from the top 20 leading bike brands: Bergamont, Bh, Bmc Switzerland, Bulls, Canyon, Ciclos Queralt, Corratec, Decathlon – Rockrider, Finna, Gas Gas, Ghost, Granville, Haibike, Hercules Bikes, Husqvarna, Intense, Kettler Bikes, KTM, Lapierre, Massi, Megamo, Merida, MMR, Monty, Moustache, Riese & Müller, Scapin, Bikes and Scott.
For this edition the brands Cannondale, GT, Look, Orbea and Specialized are back and the festival will also welcome new brands that do not want to miss the opportunity to present their products at Europe’s leading cycling festival.
All of them are ready and waiting to present their finest models and latest products and allow visitors to try them out.
Four sectors will also be brought into focus at the festival: accessories, components, equipment and sports tourism destinations
Above we have given you a preview of some of the bike brands attending this year’s edition, but we cannot forget the other brands comprising the Sea Otter Europe EXPO space, including top brands specialising in components, accessories, equipment and tourist destinations, which also deserve special mention and will not be missing the opportunity to attend Europe’s leading cycling festival. The list will soon be completed with some top-level additions.
We welcome back our sponsors as well as some new incorporations for what is a true Dream Team
Special mention also goes to our sponsors who strengthen and support the event thanks to their unconditional backing and the enthusiasm they have for Europe’s leading bike show and the cycling sector continuing to grow and making sure everyone in attendance has a fun-filled weekend.
We continue to work alongside Girona Provincial Council, the Girona-Costa Brava Tourist Board, Girona City Council and Catalunya.
Also returning is our main sponsor, Continental, which is renewing its global alliance with Ocisport as Presenting Partner of Sea Otter Europe; Canyon, as the official bike brand of the event, as well as participating in some of the sporting events; Garmin, which this year increases its level of sponsorship to Silver Partner and continues as official Technology Partner; Abus, which works alongside us unconditionally as the official helmet brand of Sea Otter Europe and its various sporting events; Cetelem, which returns as the official consumer credit brand; Goufone, which will be supporting us as the official telecom brand and is responsible for the event’s connectivity; Wikiloc, which once again consolidates its global alliance with Ocisport, Sea Otter Europe and its sporting events as the official mapping brand, thanks to its map and route apps. And last but not least, we have a new addition arriving directly from the United States: the American brand Ezup, as official supplier of tents and structures, which joins the team full of enthusiasm and is here to stay.
The alliance of Girona-Costa Brava and Sea Otter Europe makes for a true cycling paradise
Beyond the expo zone, the event organised by Bike Show Sport Events in collaboration with Ocisport will continue to focus on the dynamisation of this great festival through a more comprehensive programme of sporting events and by expanding and enhancing bike testing by creating new routes for urban bikes.
The organisers highlight how in 2021, out of all the disciplines, e-bikes and gravel were those with the highest upturn in growth. They also stress that for the next edition the event will not only be characterised as a sporting event, but will continue to give visibility to urban styles and everything related to sustainable mobility. Interest in road and urban bike models is growing while mountain bikes are certainly still enjoying huge popularity and this is reflected in the high numbers of people who have signed up for the festival’s off-road sporting events.
